Stars v. Sharks

Cranky Greg is sweating it out watching the Dallas Stars v. San Jose Sharks.  If the Stars win tonight, they play the Red Wings in the Western Conference Finals.  If the Sharks win, the Stars and Sharks play again in San Jose on Tuesday night.

Cranky is waiting for the 4th OT.  Marty Turco and Evgeni Nabokov are putting on goalie clinics.  Nabokov had the save of the night so far, and incredible grab of the puck right on the goal line.

Turco and Nabokov are playing an impressive game.

Cranky Greg forgot how exciting NHL playoff hockey is.  Since moving to Fresno, and after the NHL strike, Cranky Greg went this whole year without watching the Stars until the playoffs when they played the Ducks.

Anyway, this stuff is great.  Cranky hopes the Stars will win, but whatever happens, this is a game to be remembered.  It'll start back up again in about 5 more minutes!
